The elections of Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf as president of Liberia and Michelle Bachelet of Chile have sparked a BBC front-page-worthy debate on the merits of women as leaders, “Do women make better leaders?”

Lots of opinions going into that online pot … I wonder what Virginia Woolf’s two cents would be, or rather, her Three Guineas?

In related news, apparently Conan O’Brien not only resembles the female president of Finland, but he is also helping to get her re-elected, complete with campaign commercials and plugs on his own show. And it’s working: the power of pop culture in full force, folks.
