Sunday Will Be Mine!

August 3rd @ 3:21 p.m., many years ago, I became a part of this world. For my birthday this year, I give myself Beirut’s “Elephant Gun” (reminds me of Neutral Milk Hotel), scenes and song from a film I love, “Bagdad Cafe,” Leon Katz sweetly recollecting his summer with Alice B. Toklas, a Wanda Sykes’ clip because she’s friggin’ funny, and Lewis Black because he’s nuts. Yay!

  1. The stars tell me that Louis Armstrong (August 4, 1901) was born under the sign of Amy King. Quite a capacious and creative sign, surely!
